In 2002, Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library mounted an exhibit in recognition of the 600th anniversary of the founding of the Buxheim Charterhouse in 1402. The exhibit was curated by William Whobrey and displayed twenty-one manuscripts and early printed books in the Beinecke collection that had once been part of the substantial Buxheim library before it was sold in its entirety at auction in 1883. Below is a recreation of that exhibit, with the original exhibit plaques and links to the current Yale catalog entries.
